what we done and what we wish to learn!

Of we've done this year. which are the most useful and important up to this point?
I think from what we have learn already up to this pont reading articles and learning new things about whats going on in the outside world. I think its important for teenagers to know whats going on around there enviroment and shouldnt stay in the dark. So reading the articles about the underwater land and how we could start are own business was really cool.

What do you WANT to learn about computers in the last 9 weeks?
Wow i really dont know i think i know enough already about computers now all i have to do is remember everything i learn really. If the teacher comes up with anything exciting and new that i never knew we could do on a computer i would like to learn about it. If i had a choice to choose what we should learn maybe we can try making games on the computer or do something excited and that would keep everybody interested in it.

videos games, fewer books at school?

More videos games and fewer books? Whats that all about? I read the article and it mention how there doing this new thing on how schools are letting students play video games and read less books. Students from grade 6 through 12 are getting this program so students can get more interesting in reading and actually pay attention. Yeah that sounds like a good idea but a lot of parents and teachers should be aware about this. If they start doing this students wont be able to improve there literacy and learn how reading a book is. When you read a book you feel what the characters feel and what the author wrote means a lot."There's a lot of moral panic about addiction to games. There's a negative public perception, and we know we have to deal with that. But teachers have been using games for years and years," Salen said. Salen said that teachers have been using games for years and years. I dont belive that, Through the time i've been in school for 13years I have never played video games in school to learn something. I dont think its a good idea students just need to wake up and start paying attention. I think all these games are going to put them more behind and there generation wont be as smart as people are predcting in the future. Thats my opinion on this subject i really wouldnt care for video games and i wouldnt want my children learning like this.

''Gables Under the Sea'': a real estate soap opera summary

Was the developers' behavior ethical?
the developers didnt really do anything wrong. Its there job they where smart they thought it through and wanted there money. The widow should have thought about it and done her research before she sold it becuase now she wants the same amount of money or the property but its impossible because of all the contracts and deals that were maid not only that she just sold it like nothing.
How can this be avoided in the future?
In the future people hould do more research when they sell there property and see whats going on. Not only that find out what the buyer is really doing and why they really want the property. They should also have contracts and writen down prrof of things said and deals maid in case they need to sue because of a ripe off or something that went bad.seriously the sellers need to get smarter with there things and have more common sence becuae you never know the buyer can get you raped around there finger and get what they want.

Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

"Kazakhstani TV personality Borat is dispatched to the United States to report on the "greatest country in the world." With a documentary crew in tow, Borat becomes more interested in locating and marrying Pamela Anderson than on his assignment"

When i saw this movie i dont think i have ever laughed so hard and so much in an hour. This movie was the funniest thing ever. My favorite character was the bear because the scene where the kids are running to the ice cream truck to get ice cream out of no where the bear pops out and scares the kids away.To me that was one of the funniest things ever.this was one of the last movies i saw in theater. This movie that had all those people in it they had no idea it was a movie and half the people thought this guy was seriouse with the stunts he pulled.

students and teachers

One suggestion to make class more conducive to learning. How can a system be designed so students care more for learning? From what ive been reading from other blogs about this subject is that smarter kids should be parised but the one that do nothing too? Ok from what iv been seeing in class rooms is how teachers do pay attention to the kids who want to learn. Yeah why not? they actually want to do something and the kids that sleep and dont even try why should someone waist time on you if you dont bother waisting time on your self. Teachers try making the work interesting to you its not that they want to teach you shakespear or make you learn your alphabet its that you have to learn it anyways. Its how the school district is being told to teach you this in all schools there doing the same thing. A lot of teachers think its boring too! Hello! do you actually think some teachers want to talk about verbs and addition NO! So they trying making it fun for you the class and for them to so they can have the energy to teach it to you and 5 other classes. I think that if it took more than this to get a students attention then the schools should hand out laptops, powerpoint, slidshows . Something that can get there attention and be more fun for the students and teachers.
