Teller responsibilities include:

Fast-paced, high-volume, face-to-face customer contact
Processing customer financial transactions
Identifying and selling Washington Mutual products and services beneficial to the customers needs
Address customer questions and concerns and refer to appropriate internal resources for resolution
Establish and control customer files
Identify fraudulent activity to prevent potential losses to the bank
Stay updated on new products and services and maintain awareness of current fraud alerts

Tellers work in a fast-paced, high-volume cash-handling environment with daily face-to-face customer contact. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.

Some local travel may initially be required for training purposes

Ability to effectively communicate courteously and professionally in English (both written and oral) is a requirement.
Strong math and computer skills are also a requirement.
Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
Must sell financial products and services to meet referral goals.
Must be available Monday through Saturday.
Teller and/or retail sales experience is preferred.
Cash handling experience in a high-volume production environment is a requirement.
Ability to be present at your assigned workstation (work area) for the duration of your assigned shift.
Must be detail oriented.
Will consider Senior Teller dependent on previous experience and qualifications.
Drug testing is a requirement for all Consumer Bank employees in the state of Florida.
